1938-11-08 Recover Some Rings Stolen

Deputy Chief Haller said today police have recovered 17 of 25 rings stolen October 29 from Wiss Sons, Inc., 665 Broad street, and have information on six others. They were allegedly stolen by George A. Gibson, 49, of Philadelphia, who was arrested Saturday by Patrolman Boylan at the Four Corners and is in custody.

Three of the rings, Haller said were recovered from a Philadelphia pawn shop after Detectives Manning and Rodgers found pawn tickets in a room in a Philadelphia hotel where Gibson had lived.
