Grand opening of the new branch of the Wiss Jewelry Store at 594 Central Ave., East Orange, will be this afternoon and will mark the 107th anniversary of the firm. The branch was formerly located at 554 Central Ave.

Martha Taylor, three-year-old great-great-granddaughter of the store's founder, Jacob Wiss, will cut the ribbon officially opening the building. Other members of the Wiss family, Harry J. Cole, president of the East Orange Chamber of Commerce, and Milton Bachman, president of the Central Avenue Assn., also will attend.
