J. Wiss & Sons Co., cutlery
manufacturer, today announced
settlement of a 12-day strike. A
company spokesman said more
than 500 factory employes this
noon ratified a company offer of
a three-year contract with wage
increases averaging 11 cents an
hour in the first year and 7 cents
for each of the second and third
years, plus fringe benefits totaling
9 cents an hour in the first
year.
