Mildred Wiss Smith Pastel Portraits
Mildred's portraits below span 1958 through 1964. I'm sure she made these for a longer period than that. Below in family groups by generations, then friends at the end.
Note the first portrait is not by Mildred. The artist's signature is indecipherable. Norm Sr. died in 1954. It is likely this portrait predated all of Mildred's. And because of the stylist similarities, it is possible that this portrait was the model for all of Mildred's subsequent portraits.
