ORANGE – Capt. Jerome Baker Wiss, now overseas, and Mrs. Wiss, Orange, have announced the engagement of their daughter Miss Nancy Dows Wiss, to Lt. Peter Arthur Drury, 3rd, of the marine corps, sone of Mrs. Charles Witte Waring, Charleston, S.C., and Lt. Peter Arthur Drury, jr., U.S.N.R.

Miss Wiss was graduated from Miss Beard's school, Orange, and attended Colorado college. She is a member of the Junior league of the Oranges and is a frequent visitor to Avon. She is now an active Red Cross nurse's aide.

Lieutenant Drury, who is the grandson of Mrs. Clarence Crittenden Calhoun, Washington, attended schools in Charleston, S.C. and Washington.
