Gail A. Rodgers, Richard G. Wiss Will Be Married

Alumna of Centenary to Become the Bride of Monmouth Student

SUMMIT, N.J.. Feb. 4 — Mr. and Mrs. Jay T. Rodgers have announced the engagement of their daughter, Miss Gail Alden Rodgers, to Richard Garin Wiss, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard R. Wiss of Short Hills.

A June wedding is planned.

Miss Rodgers is an alumna of Centenary Collegeor Women. She is a grandaughter of C. Wallace Vail of East Orange and the late Mrs. Vail and of Mrs. Arthur T. Rodgers of South Orange and the late Mr. Rodgers.

Mr. Wiss, who was graduated from the Mercersburg (Pa.) Academy and attended Syracuse University, is studying at Monmouth College. He is with the J. Wiss & Sons Company, Newark, manufacturer of scissors and shears. His father is president of the company. The concern was founded by the. prospective bridegroom's great-great-grandfather, Jacob Wiss.

The future bridegroom is a grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. Robert Wiss of South Orange and of the late Mr. and Mrs. Arthur W. Drake of Short Hills. He is a great-grandson of Newman E. Drake, founder of the Drake Bakeries.
