Mr. and Mrs. Albert S. Commette of 129 Wildwood Ave., Upper Montclair, and Mantoloking announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Nina Christine Commette, to Karl William Corby 3rd, son of Mr. and Mrs. Karl William Corby of Washington, D.C., and Bay Head.
Miss Commette was graduated from Mt. St. Dominic Academy in Caldwell and from Marymount College of Virginia in Arlington, Va.
Mr. Corby attended St. Alban's School in Washington and was graduated from the Lawrenceville School. He is a senior at the University of Pennsylvania.
A Christmas wedding is planned.
