WISS-SOMMER

The wedding of Miss Mildred E. Sommer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bertrand H. Sommer of 276 Sixth avenue, and Norman Frederick Wiss, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick C.J. Wiss of 171 Fairmount avenue, took place last night at the Woman's Club of Orange. Rev. Dr. William Y. Chapman, pastor of the Roseville Presbyterian Church, performed the ceremony, which was followed by a reception and dancing.

The bride's attendants were Mrs. Clifford Jenkins of Brooklyn who was matron of honor; Mrs. J. Robert Wiss of this city, sister-in-law of the bridegroom, who was the bride's matron; the Misses Madeline Atwater of New York, Lillian Reininger of Orange, Alma Seiler and Elsie Blum of this city, who were bridesmaids. Frank L. Driver Jr. was best man, and the ushers were J. Robert Wiss, Jerome B. Wiss, Alfred Seiler, Arthur P. Sommer, brother of the bride, and Jesse Wike of Roaring Springs, Pa. Harold More of Brooklyn was ring bearer.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white satin and tulle embroidered in silver and pearls and a veil of duchesse lace arranged with orange blossoms. She wore the gift of the bridegroom, a diamond Tavaillere set in platinum, and carried lavender and pink sweet peas. The bride's matron wore lavender satin and carried pink sweet peas. The bridesmaids were attired in gowns of pink satin with silver trimmings, and carried lavender sweet peas. The ring bearer wore a white satin suit. The bride's mother wore blue satin with silver trimming, and the bridegroom's mother wore rainbow tulle with iridescent trimming.

After a wedding trip to Buffalo and the Thousand Islands, the couple will live in this city, where the bridegroom is in business with his father.
