SOUTH ORANGE, N.J., Jan. 2.–Mr. and Mrs. J. Robert Wiss of South Orange announced today the engagement of their daughter, Miss Ruth Charlotte Wiss, to Waldron M. Ward Jr. of Summit. The announcement was made at a tea for 100 guests at the Wiss home.
Miss Wiss was graduated from the Dearborn Morgan School in Orange and the Finch School of New York. Mr. Ward was graduated from Philips Academy at Andover, Mass., and from Princeton University in 1937. He is a member of the Princeton Club of New York.
