Wiss-Reynolds Marriage Held

Son of Norman Wisses and Phillipsburg Girl Have 12 Bridal Attendants

PHILLIPSBURG–Miss Jeannette Joan Reynolds, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James John Reynolds of 671 Hillcrest boulevard, became the bride yesterday of Kenneth Bertrand Wiss, son of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Frederick Wiss of Oaklawn road, Short Hills. The ceremony was performed in the rectory of SS. Phillip and James's Church here by Rev. Richard McEwan. A reception followed in Northampton County Country Club.

Mrs. Richard J. Donohoe of Westmoreland Hills, Md., was matron of honor for her sister, and Miss Jane Rutter of this place, maid of honor. Mrs. Norman F. Wiss Jr. of Livingston, Mrs. Malcolm W. Macdonald of Washington and Miss Patricia McAlee of Easton, Pa., were bridesmaids. E. Jacques Downing of Jersey City was best man and users were his brothers, Frederick Wiss of Short Hills and Norman F. Wiss Jr.; their cousin William Taylor, and Bruce Kendall of Short Hills; Thomas Reynolds of Philipsburg, brother of the bride, and George Meyer of Levittown, L.I.

The bride wore a satin gown with an illusion yoke of seed pearl embroidery. Her illusion veil was trimmed with Brussels lace and she carried orchids and lilies of the valley. Her attendants wore white organdy over green taffeta with green taffeta headbands. They carried cascades of gardenias.

The bride was graduated from Mt. St. Joseph's Academy, Chestnut Hill, Pa., and Rosemont (Pa.) College. Mr. Wiss, an alumnus of Choate School and Lehigh University, where he was a member of Beta Theta Pi, is a member of Baltusrol Golf Club and the Bay Head Yacht Club. During the was, he served three years with the Combat Engineers, including duty in the Pacific theater. He is with J. Wiss & Sons Co., Newark, The couple have left for a stay at Sea Isle, Ga.
