Retired Salesman, 66 Dies of Heart Attack at His Summer Home

Frederick W. Sinon of 11 Mountain View Ter., Maplewood, a retired salesman for Wiss Sons, Inc., Newark jewelers, died of a heart attack yesterday at his summer home in Barton, Vt. He was 66.

Born in East Albany, N.Y., a son of the late John and Anne Maloney Sinon, he lived most of his life in Maplewood. He was associated with the Stanley Air Craft Corp. During World War I and afterward he operated the Sinon & Tynan garages in Elizabeth Ave., Newark.

He also operated a Hudson and Essex automobile agency in Newark. He was a member of Newark Kiwanis, South Orange Lodge of Elks, Maplewood Country Club and the Orleans (Vt.) Country Club.

Funeral Thursday

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Gretchen Wiss Sinon; a son, Frederick W. Jr. of Maplewood; three daughters, Mrs. Carl Sayer of Puerto Rico, Mrs. Paul Merrigan of Newport, N.H., and Mrs. Walter Merrigan of Livingston; four sisters, Mrs. Kate Dwinell of Barton, Miss Elizabeth Sinon of Maplewood, Mrs. Margaret McDermott of Grantwood and Mrs. Bertha Flannery of Bonderant, Iowa; two brothers, John of Lynn, Mass., and Frank of East Albany, and seven grandchildren.

Rev. Charles L. Mead, pastor of First Presbyterian and Trinity Church, South Orange, will conduct services Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Colonial Home, 132 South Harrison St., East Orange.
