SOUTH ORANGE, N.J., March 8–J. Robert Wiss, president of J. Wiss & Sons Company, Newark cutlery manufacturers, died here today at his home, 328 Grove Street after a month's illness. He was 63 years old.

Mr. Wiss had been president of the concern since 1931. He was a member of Damascus Commandery of Masons, Newark Rotary Club, Bay Head Yacht Club and Baltusrol Golf Club. He leaves a son, Richard R.; two daughters, Mrs. Waldron M. Ward Jr. and Mrs. Karl W. Corby; his mother, Mrs. Charlotte Lange Wiss, and a sister, Mrs. Denton W. Taylor.
