SOUTH ORANGE, N.J., March 8–J. Robert Wiss, president of J. Wiss & Sons Company, Newark cutlery manufacturers, died here today at his home, 328 Grove Street after a month's illness. He was 63 years old.

Mr. Wiss had been president of the concern since 1931. He was a member of Damascus Commandery of Masons, Newark Rotary Club, Bay Head Yacht Club and Baltusrol Golf Club. He leaves a son, Richard R.; two daughters, Mrs. Waldron M. Ward Jr. and Mrs. Karl W. Corby; his mother, Mrs. Charlotte Lange Wiss, and a sister, Mrs. Denton W. Taylor.

Ward Jr. of West Orange, N.J. and Mrs. Karl W. Corby of Washington, D.C. Service at The Colonial Home, 132 South Harrison St., East Orange, N.J., Thursday evening, March 10, at 8 o'clock. Interment private.
