1939-05-19 Wiss Window Robbed

Three watches valued at $100 were stolen from the window of Wiss & Sons, Inc., jewelers at 655 Broad street, by a thief who tossed a stone through a display window at 4 A.M. today. The crash of glass attracted Herbert Marsden of 245 Linden avenue, Belleville, bakery truck driver. He saw the man run from in front of the store. Later the thief was seen getting into an automobile in New street.
