J. Wiss & Sons Co., cutlery manufacturer, was honored with a long-term exhibitor's award at the recent National Housewares Exhibit in Chicago. Presented in the name of the National Housewares Manufacturers Association, the award plaque cites the firm for a quarter-century of participation in the housewares show, the largest exhibition of its kind in the world. General sales manager Kenneth B. Wiss and hardware and industrial sales manager Bruce J. Briggs accepted the award for the 118 year-old Wiss firm. Wiss manufacturing facilities are located at 33 Littleton Ave., Newark, and 228 Burnett Ave., Maplewood.
