BRUCE J. BRIGGS of Short Hills has been promoted to the newly-created post of product manager for J. Wiss & Sons Co., Newark and Maplewood cutlery manufacturer. His post as sales manager, hardware and industrial, is being taken over by Richard G. Bailey, who joins Wiss from the Turner Corp., for which he was Eastern district manager. Briggs joined Wiss in 1965 from Kraeuter & Co. Inc., Newark tool manufacturer, for which he had been general manager for eight years.
