The Wiss Family Houses in Bay Head, NJ
After WWII, several Wiss families summered in Bay head for decades.
Third Generation:
- Norman F. Wiss [Sr] & Mildred Sommer Wiss: 724 East Ave, Bay Head. Circa 1944 they started renting.
- J. Robert Wiss had a house here on the bay from 1950-1954. He died in 1955. Address unknown.
Fourth Generation:
- Norman F. Wiss, Jr. & Ann Coulter Wiss: 39 Johnson St, Bay Head
- Richard Wiss And Virginia (Ginnie) Drake Wiss: 214 Channel Lane, Mantoloking [Bayfront]
- Joan Wiss and Karl Corby for many decades at 79 Goetze St. [Bayfront. Sold for $2.9M in July 2004. Current house built 2006.]
- Fred and Faith Wiss rented for a period. Address unknown.

Richard Wiss And Virginia (Ginnie) Drake Wiss: 214 Channel Lane, Mantoloking
Richard and Ginnie rented this house for a couple decade. (It was built in 1951.) Norm Jr. did not get along with Richard. When the owner wanted to sell the house, it was offered to Norm first. Norm wanted to buy the house and kick Richard out. But Norm did not have the money. Richard bought the house. Richard and Ginnie moved here full time in the Spring of 1975. He died here that Fall.
