Wiss Private Room in Fairmount Cemetery Mausoleum

The Wiss private room was purchased by Frederick C.J. Wiss on February 8, 1927 for the price of $9,000. The room has a stained glass window with the Virgin Mary holding Jesus. Not all private rooms have windows. He was the first to be interred here. There is no record of an endowment for the room. There are places for eight caskets:
