Mrs. Frederick C.J. Wiss of 171 Fairmount avenue, who will sail February 9 with Mrs. William A. Baker to spend several months in Europe, has been guest of honor at several parties this week. Mrs. Frederick Reynolds of 78 Court street and Mrs. Ernest A. Dreher Sr. of 27 Vassar avenue each entertained at luncheon for her, and yesterday Mrs. Charles F. Kraemer of 569 Parker street entertained the members of a card club at her home for luncheon and bridge in Mrs. Wiss's honor.

• William A. Baker had owned a printing company, but died six years before this trip. So only his widow was on it. She lived at 3 High St, Newark.
• Ernest A. Dreher had a patent for a drain plug.
• Charles F. Kraemer was involved in very large real estate development in Newark, including the Wiss Building.
