East Orange Girl Is Bride of Ex-Pilot, Son of Dr. William D. Taylors
The marriage of Miss Bette Bruce, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry E. Bruce of South Munn avenue, East Orange, formerly of Chicago, to Frederick Fancher Taylor, son of Dr. and Mrs. William Denton Taylor of Farley road, Short Hills, took place last night in the Reasoner Chapel of Munn Avenue Presbyterian Church, East Orange. The pastor, Rev. Dr. C. Marshall Muir, performed the ceremony. A reception was held in the Woman's Club of Orange.
The bride's white satin gown trimmed with seed pearl embroidery, had a full skirt and train. Her heirloom veil of princess lace had been worn by the bridegroom's mother at her wedding. She carried eucharis lilies and white lilacs. Mrs. Peyton Short of Baltimore was her matron of honor and only attendant Harry Romain of Morristown was best man. Lt. Joseph Scott, USNR, of Short Hills and William Stewart Bruce of East Orange, the bride's brother, ushered.
The bride was educated at schools in Chicago, White Plains, N.Y.
