Christ Church, Short Hills, was the setting yesterday for the marriage of Miss Faith Annabelle Robbins, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. Dudley Robbins of 44 Grosvenor road, Short Hills, and Frederick D. Wiss, son of Mr. and Mrs. Norman F. Wiss of 17 Oaklawn road, Short Hills. Rev. Herbert H. Cooper officiated at the ceremony, which was followed by a reception at the home of the bride's parents.
The bride wore a gown of Italian silk taffeta fashioned with a sweetheart neckline trimmed with alençon lave and a full skirt. Her tiered veil of silk tulle was caught to a crown of seed pearls. She carried a Bible, a gift from her grandmother, with a marker of orchids and valley lilies.
Miss Nancy A. Seaman was honor attendant and the misses Mary Kay Cooper and Janice E. Phillips were bridesmaids. Kenneth B. Wiss was best man for his brother, whose ushers included John D. Robbins, brother of the bride; Norman F. Wiss Jr., another brother of the bridegroom; Holmes Bailey, William Betteridge and Jess M. Johns.
The bride was graduated from Kent Place School and Finch Junior College. Mr. Wiss, an alumnus of the Choate School and Yale University, is associated with J. Wiss & Sons Co., Newark. After a trip to Europe the couple will reside in Short Hills.
