A memorial service was held Friday in Center Sandwich (N.H.) Baptist Church for former township resident Frederick Taylor, 69, who died July 22 in Wolfeboro, N.H.

Before retiring in 1978, Mr. Taylor was a certified public accountant for John D. Rockefeller III and his family. He also was an Air Force veteran of World War II.

Born in Newark, Mr. Taylor lived here and in Madison before moving to Center Sandwich 18 years ago.

Surviving are his wife, the former Bette Bruce; a son, Gordon of Arizona; a brother, William of Dorset, Vt. ; and a grandson.
