MADISON – A memorial service was held last Friday for Frederick F. Taylor, 69, formerly of Madison, who died July 22 in Wolfeboro, N.H., after a long illness.
Born in Newark, he lived in Short Hills most of his life and resided in Madison for 18 years before moving to Center Sandwich, N.H.
Mr. Taylor was a graduate of Yale and received his advanced degree from Harvard Business School in 1941. He worked as a Certified Public Accountant with John D. Rockefeller and his family until his retirement in 1978. He was a World War II veteran and served in the U.S. Eight Air Force in England as a bomber pilot.
Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife, Bette Bruce Taylor of Center Sandwich; one son, Gordon S. Taylor of Arizona; one grandson and one brother, William S. Taylor of Dorset, Vt.
