Wife of Jewelry Firm President Succumbs at Age of 60

Mrs. Laura Reininger Wiss, wife of J. Robert Wiss, died yesterday at her home, 328 Grove road, South Orange. She was 60. Her husband is president of J. Wiss & Sons Co., Newark cutlery and jewelry manufacturers.

Mrs. Wiss was born in Newark, a daughter of Mrs. Ida Kull and the late Richard Reininger. Long active in poetical circles, Mrs. Wiss's poems have appeared in various poetical publications. She was a member of the Pen Women's Club of America, the Brooklyn Poetry Circle and the Women's Press Club. She also was long active in the Sarah Ward Day Nursing Auxiliary and the Griffith Music Foundation.

Surviving besides her husband and mother are a son, Richard R. of Maplewood; two daughters, Mrs. Waldron M. Ward Jr. of West Orange and Mrs. Karl W. Corby of Washington; five sisters, Mrs. Frederick Shelly, Mrs. Guy D. Potter and Mrs. Cornelius Barnes, all of South Orange, Mrs. Donald Parker of Bloomfield, and Mrs. Harold Creighton of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and eight grandchildren.

Clarence Rader, Christian Science reader, will conduct services tomorrow at 8 P M. at the Colonial Home, 132 South Harrison street, Easy Orange. Burial will be private.
