BAY HEAD, N.J., Sept. 16 (AP). –-Norman F. Wiss, fifty-eight, Newark cutlery manufacturer and former vice-president of the New Jersey Manufacturers Association, died last night at his summer home here.

Mt. Wiss, executive vice-president and treasurer of J. Wiss & Sons, lived at 17 Oaklawn Road, Short Hills. He was a grandson of Jacob Wiss, a Swiss cutler and gunsmith, who founded the Newark firm more than 100 years ago. Mr. Wiss had served as a member of the State Unemployment Compensation Commission.
