J. Wiss & Sons: Small Scissors Display Box

A Wiss Cut Clean Display Box. It passed through eBay in June 2013. I bid $70. Two others bid higher and it sold for $82.99. The purpose of the box is unknown, but presumably to store and display small scissors. It is too small for straight razors. It does not appear in any of my catalogs. I'd guess 1900-1920, based on there is an anvil on top of the cloud logo.

The top is lined with brown velvet and has a green button marked Wiss Stay Sharp. It measures 5 1/2" long × 2 1/2" tall × 3" wide. The top may be hinged with linen. The side of the top states "Size; No.; Price; J. Wiss & Sons Co., Newark, N.J."
