The Newark Evening News, November 8, 1933
Thieves during the night stole
twenty-four bar pins from the display
window of Wiss Sons, Inc., jewelers, of
665 Broad street. The pins were valued
at $300. The jewelry was obtained by

glass-cutter and tapping the weakened
section loose with a piece of stone.
