The land, title to which passed last week, is located at 1835 Burnet Avenue, Union, and consists of 1.58 acres extending to a railroad siding of the Rahway Valley Railroad. It was acquired by Wiss for future expansion of its Maplewood facilities, where garden and pinking shears are manufactured.
The seller, Wasserman Development Corp. of Cambridge, Mass., was represented legally in the transaction by Robert Greenbaum, Newark attorney, and Wiss by Harrison Cornish, of the law firm of Osborne, Cornish & Scheck of Newark.
