TRENTON—Norman F. Wiss of Newark, vice president and treasurer of J. Wiss & Sons Co., manufacturers of scissors and shears, was sworn today as a member of the Unemployment Compensation Commission. Appointed by former Governor Edge, Wiss succeeds Charles Engelhard of Bernardsville.

The ceremony took place at the home of Mrs. Mary G. Roebling, a member of the commission. Chancellor Oliphant officiated.
